No Limits

We have never told Callie no….in regards to doing things with her prosthetic. 
She wants to ride horses? 
Ok. 
She wants to go swimming? 
Ok. 
She wants to do Field Day at school? 
Ok. 
She wants to do PE at school? 
Ok. 
She wants to go down the water slide on the cruise? 
Ok. 
We just have to figure out how we can do it. It might mean a different path or a unique way of doing it, but she still DOES it. 
We adapt things for her so she can have the same experiences as everyone else. We might have to take more breaks or do something less conventional but our girl gets to do it all. 
I never want to put any restrictions on her because of her leg. I want her to feel confident in the ability to try whatever her heart desires….and the security in herself to know that she can adapt things if needed. No limits for our little warrior, she gets to shoot for the stars……
