Even writing these words is a little surreal.
I’m officially a published author!
Y’all I literally cried seeing my name and essay in print.
And not only that but the fact that it was along side some amazing, strong, powerhouse women like Jillian Harris, Ashley Graham, Eva Longoria, Christy Turlington-Burns, Ricki Lake, and Rebecca Minkoff.
I can’t believe my name is tucked between those of these powerhouse women and in a book that celebrates the beautiful experience of motherhood and birth. It’s an honor and a privilege.
This book is even more special because 100% of the proceeds go to Carriage House Birth to support the training of Black birth support workers. Women taking care of women.
