We started this blog to share our journey as we navigate through our crazy beautiful life. Callie is a lower limb amputee and I am a Type One Diabetic. I'm learning all I can about how important rest is for me (#hashiwarrior ) and I'm discovering.....it's not just about sleep.

Taking time for me, prioritizing things that are truly important, and getting rid of pesky perfection are some of the things I'm implementing!

Practicing some self care today....
With my recent diagnosis, I've gotten really intune with my body.

Which is an awesome thing ✨️

Equally importantly, is actually giving my body the things it needs, and after a crazy week, I need to slow down, be still, and get some rest today.

I plan to go take a magnesium bath and go to bed early! In a previous season, I would have just pushed myself harder and tried to just outwork the fatigue, so I'm proud of the growth I've had over the last few months!
